NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
For the members of Forest Lakes Homeowners Association to be held at
RALEIGH LIBRARY
3452 Austin Peay Highway
SATURDAY, AUGUST 1, 2026 FROM 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This meeting is for the purpose of
1) Approving the annual budget for 2026-2027 and
2) the election for the offices of Vice-President, Treasurer and all 3 Trustee positions.
In order to vote in the election, ALL HOA dues (including late fees) must have been paid by July 25th, 2026. NO Payments of any kind will be accepted at the meeting.
***Each member must be current in his/her fees, dues & assessments to be eligible to vote (Article V, Section 2 of FLHOA By-laws) ***
Only those members who are current in their obligations may hold an elected office. (Article IX, Section 4 of FLHOA By-laws)
***IN THE EVENT OF NO QUORUM AT THIS MEETING, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS SHALL MEET TO APPOINT VOTING ELIGIBLE MEMBERS TO FILL VACANCIES***
(Article XI, Section 4 of FLHOA By-laws) If you are unable to attend the meeting, please mail in your proxy to Forest Lakes HOA, P.O. Box 280812, Memphis, Tennessee 38168. Proxies must be postmarked no later than July 29th, 2026.
Elections–The voting ballots will be issued during check in to eligible homeowners. The offices of Vice President, Treasurer and all 3 Trustee positions will be open. If you are interested in running for a position, please email your expression of interest for that position to secretary@forestlakeshomeowners.org by July 25, 2026. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor.
